
Copenhagen cuts down to level up.
When the European commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, placed the European Green Deal
back on the table in 2020, she knew it was ambitious. Lowering carbon emissions by 55% by 2030 will only be possible if Europeans completely and collectively transform their lives, work and living situations. How member countries will go on to realize this ambitious plan is still uncertain, but I love the example of Copenhagen, the city that refused to wait for a big European vision or plan.
